On various levels of consciousness, Stars Aligned by Eve Maret is a pop-edged modular sprawl that encompasses these past experiences and processes, allied with her own personal emotional and spiritual growth. 'It's about the truth that is revealed by one's suffering, seeing it as an opportunity for compassion and growth, and focusing on what you want to manifest in the present moment' she says. 'My personal experience of grief, love, disappointment, joy, and heartbreak made this album what it is.'
Stars Aligned is a record that twists and turns, moving seamlessly from the excitable skittering four to the floor and manipulated vocals of Synthesizer Hearts to more scrambled amalgamations that gradually reveal themselves - as on the title track's burbling frequencies. It's reflective of the real-life flux that Maret herself existed in; these first two tracks came to her while she was spending time out in a camper van in the Tennessee countryside.
Eve has performed across the United States alongside artists such as Xiu Xiu, JEFF the Brotherhood, Lydia Lunch, and Sun Araw. In March of 2018 and 2019, she performed at Big Ears Festival's 12-Hour drone.
In addition to her personal creative practices, Eve is committed to providing avenues for others to create and uplift one another. She and Jess Chambers founded Hyasynth House, an electronic music collective and education center for female, trans, and non-binary artists in May of 2018. Together they facilitated workshops, performances, and community-wide conversations in an effort to support and empower marginalized groups. Hyasynth House ceased operation when Eve moved to California in August 2019. Since her return to Nashville, Eve has continued to explore pathways to invest in her community.
Pairs well with John Atkinson / Sabriel's Orb

"the songs on'Stars Aligned'feel like chance symmetries between arpeggiator pulsations and surges of synth pads; not forced into wholeness, but merely sharing kinship within a single moment in time. Eventually each instrument will float outward and pull the shape apart, resembling the thousands of contradictions that vibrate within us all and signal, so vibrantly, the obliteration from which we originate and to which we return." - ATTN Magazine
"So buoyant and inventive are Maret's tones and arrangements' an intriguing new name in experimental pop'“- Wire Magazine
