Hosana: The Messe de Nostre Dame is the latest release by the Los Angeles based artist Jesse Quebbeman-Turley. Channeling what Quebbeman-Turley calls “West Coast Medieval Ambient”, the album features contributions Jesse Quebbeman-Turley, Davy Sumner, Patrick Shiroishi, Logan Hone, Gregory Uhlmann and Luke Williams. Quebbeman-Turley’s extensive use of what they call rhythmic harmony creates a sense of infinite sonic combinations of cycling, hypnotic sounds –– pulsing, loping, often subtle but ultimately ecstatic and intimate.
